Common questions
Where is my data stored?
Everything you enter (accounts, balances, goals and contributions) is stored only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. There is no Budgety account and no Budgety server that holds it, so we cannot see it. If you subscribe to Budgety Pro, Apple and RevenueCat handle the subscription itself. The Privacy Policy has the full picture.
What happens when I change phones?
Your data does not move by itself. On the old phone, open Profile, tap Back up data and save the file to iCloud Drive or Files. On the new phone, install Budgety, open Profile, tap Restore from backup and pick that file. Restoring replaces whatever is in the app at that moment.
A Budgety Pro subscription belongs to your Apple ID, not to the phone: see "How do I restore my purchases?" below.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, go to Settings > your name (Apple Account) > Subscriptions, choose Budgety and cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to stop the next renewal. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I restore my purchases?
Sign in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with, open the Pro screen in Budgety and tap Restore purchases. Pro comes back for as long as the subscription is active. This brings back Pro, not your data: to move your data, use Restore from backup as described above.
